Boxford has an active sports program of baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse and softball all managed by the Boxford Athletic Association.  The association also directs the July 4 Road Race, a popular five-mile competitive race open to all adults. For the children, there are two activities: a one-mile Fun Run and three-mile Walk for Fitness.  For more information on youth soccer programs check out the Essex County Youth Soccer Association.

Additionally, the association manages the town beach, Stiles Pond Beach, just off Main Street, with some of the cleanest fresh water in eastern Massachusetts.  Situated on the shore of Stiles Pond is Camp Rotary, offering summer programs.

For the golfers, visit Far Corner Golf Course, a challenging 27 hole layout nestled in the beautiful West Boxford.
