Georgetown Schools

Georgetown’s 1,600 school aged children are served by two elementary schools and a combined middle school and high school. Children are welcomed into the school system with the Perley School pictured above, originally built in 1898 and renovated on its centennial anniversary.

The Penn Brook Elementary School instructs students in grades 2-5. Students then continue to the Georgetown Middle/High School located on Winter Street.

Georgetown schools placed in the top 3^rd of the 373 Massachusetts communities reported in the 2004 MCAS testing.
